Impulse transforms vibrations into light as the observer may shape it as they wish. The design of Impulse is meant to encourage people to interact with its components. Developed using an Arduino, various electronics, and found objects, Impulse was made possible with input from teachers and fellow students and also drew inspiration from the many pieces included in the New Materiality collection currently on display at the Milwaukee Art Museum.
