This project consists of two parts. The sculptural element is a fabricated fortune cookie with an LCD screen nested inside, which displays a random fortune from a databank. The fortunes are meant to make the viewer think about things in their own lives. There is also a website that gives a description of the project, facts about fortune cookies, and why people seem to enjoy fortune cookies.
