Cristian Lago

Cristian Lago is a Senior in the Arts and Technology program, born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The arts have always been a part of Cristian’s life in some capacity – whether it was teaching guitar out of his Buenos Aires apartment, designing an animation show with friends, playing in a rock band or experimenting with computers and sound, his passion for the arts has fueled his drive to be a successful designer in the community, both here and abroad. Cristian has received numerous awards for his work including “Heineken Inspire,” where Lago was selected from 1000s of applicants and invited to perform at a 3 day promotional event, and most recently, won an Argentine based radio contest, by Sony Music, for remixing an internationally renowned punk band’s, Attaque 77, newest single. Cristian is thrilled to have the opportunity to study Arts and Tech at UWM, fusing all of his natural interests and talents into one interdisciplinary program that will prepare him for the next step after graduation.
